Music Mission Statement

The mission of the Northeastern Music Department is to create a balanced program of educational instruction that promotes participation in and an appreciation of music in order to engage the minds and enrich the lives of all students. Through a variety of musical experiences, students are encouraged to reach a high level of musical excellence, as well as become life-long and intelligent music advocates, participants, and patrons.
