Hello!  I just wanted to take this time to introduce myself to you.  My name is Alyssa Strayer.  This is my 14th year teaching in Northeastern School District.  I taught 1 year at Orendorf Elementary and the rest at Spring Forge Intermediate School as a 4th grade teacher.  This past November, I had the privilege to move into the Intermediate School Librarian position.

I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from York College. I also earned two minors with my bachelor's degree, one in Psychology and the other in Special Education. I have my master’s degree in School Library and Information Technology from Mansfield University, as well.

The most important thing I want you to know about myself is that I care deeply for each child I teach.  I always want what is best for each one of my students.  I hold high expectations for all my students, both academically and socially, and expect them to always try their best.

Please feel free to contact me about anything concerning your child.  I believe the best way for your child to reach his/her full potential is for teachers and parents to work together.

As we begin this new adventure of distance learning, I want to share two links that I will be using to communicate with your child. You can click on the links below to access these resources.
