All About Miss Stayer
I was born and raised in York County, PA. I graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. After graduating from college, I taught as a preschool special education teacher with the Lincoln Intermediate Unit (LIU). I taught for 4 years with the LIU before deciding that I wanted to expand my skills. I began teaching with the Northeastern School District at the start of the 2016-2017 school year.
When I am not in school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My hobbies include reading, jogging and cooking. I love to watch cooking shows, to try new recipes and to shop for kitchen gadgets. My favorite season is fall as I enjoy the changing colors, the cooler temperatures and the Thanksgiving holiday.
I love being a teacher, because I have the opportunity to share my love for learning with my students. I always say I learn something new every day! My hope is that I can help my students develop the skills they need in order to become lifelong learners.
