A Little About Me:
I moved to the York area in 2000 from Clearfield, Pennsylvania. I currently live in Lewisberry with my husband Chuck and our dogs Lana and Remington. I have four step daughters- Olivia, Madison,MiKenna, and Alexis. I enjoy spending time outdoors, kayaking, going to the beach, watching "The Ohio State Buckeyes", The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Philadelphia Phillies. I also enjoy riding motorcycles, shopping, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
I graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 1995 with a B.S. in Early Childhood/ Elementary Education. I also have a M. Ed from Penn State University. Since graduating, I have had the opportunity to teach kindergarten through 8th grade. I have experience teaching Autistic Support- grades 5 & 6, Learning Support- grades 3 & 4, Alternative Education- grades 7 & 8, Regular Education- grades 6, 4,and kindergarten. I have enjoyed all of my teaching experiences, but I love 6th grade the most! I became a staff member of NESD in November of the 2005-06 school year, as an IST Teacher. I am excited and looking forward to being one of your 6th grade teachers, and having the opportunity to really get to know each and every one of you!
I hope that you have a fantastic experience here at Shallow Brook Intermediate School!
