• Immunizations

ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, unless the student has a medical exemption in writing, the student must have had at least one dose of DTap (diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis), IPV/OPV (polio), MMRV (measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella) and HepB (hepatitis B) vaccinations or will be excluded from attending school.

If the student does not have all the required doses in the series listed above, needs additional doses, and the next dose is medically appropriate, the student must receive the next dose within the first five days of school or they will be excluded from attending school.  If the next dose is not the final dose of the series, the student must also provide written documentation called a medical plan by a physician within the first five days of school or will be excluded from attending school.

If the student does not have all the required doses in the series listed above, needs additional doses, and the next dose is NOT medically appropriate, the student must provide a written medical plan from a physician within the first five days of school or will be excluded from attending school.

This is a Pennsylvania state mandate and there are no exceptions.
