• Mr. Jay Kipp
    Mathematics Teacher
    Background:  I grew up in Mifflintown, Pennsylvania and graduated from Juniata High School in
                        1988.  I then graduated from Shippensburg University in 1992 with a degree in
                        mathematics education and was a member of the baseball team.  After graduation
                        from college, I taught mathematics and coached basketball, football and baseball
                        at West Perry High School in Elliottsburg, Pennsylvania from 1992 - 2001.  I then
                        taught mathematics and coached baseball and football at Juniata High School
                        from 2001 - 2006 before becoming the Assistant Principal at Northeastern High
                        School.  After four years as an administrator, I chose to return to the classroom
                        to again teach mathematics.
    Family:  I am married to Mrs. Danielle Kipp, a third grade teacher at Mount Wolf
                Elementary School in the Northeastern School District.  I have three
                children - Adam, Marissa and Callie.  Additionally,
    Interests:  In addition to being a sports enthusiast, I enjoy camping, hiking, bicycling,
                    golfing, riding motorcycle, running 5Ks, vacationing at the beach, playing cards and trivia. 
                    My favorite sports teams are the Atlanta Braves, New York Jets and the
                    Penn State Nittany Lions!
