The PA Department of Health's school immunization regulations have changed for the 2017/2018 school year.
All Kindergarten students must meet state requirements.  If not completed, there is a 5 day provisional period to complete immunizations.  If multiple doses of the same vaccine are needed, then a medical plan signed by a physician must be returned with immunizations administered.
All 7th grade students MUST have proof of the Tdap and Meningococcal vaccinations prior to starting the first day of 7th grade.  In addition all students must have had 4 doses of polio with the 4th dose on or after the 4th birthday.  If these are not completed prior to the start of the school year, your child will not be allowed to start on the first day of school.
Many students have completed these immunizations but an updated record has not been submitted to the school.  Please make this a priority and update your child's immunization record as soon as possible.  Please feel free to contact the nursing staff with any questions you may have.
