    Welcome to Northeastern School District!
I am a proud Northeastern graduate who enjoys learning about other cultures and helping my students achieve both their personal and academic goals.  My love for ESL started during my undergraduate years at Kutztown University where I took my first ESL course and graduated with a degree in Secondary Education- English.  Following graduation, I managed daycare for 10 years before enrolling into the ESL Certification Program at the Capitol Area Intermediate Unit.  I taught ESL briefly at the secondary level for LIU #12 prior to joining the Bobcat Family.  While teaching ESL for grades 4-8 I earned my Master's Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State-Harrisburg.  Last year I transferred from Shallow Brook Intermediate to the high school so I can continue to celebrate the success of my students who started with me as 4th graders.  I look forward to watching them graduate and start the next chapter of their lives.

When I am not at school or cheering on our students at sports and musical events, I treasure time with my family.  My husband Chad and I have been married for 16 years and have two daughters, Morgan and Neli.  Together we like to swim, hike, play volleyball, travel, visit water and amusement parks and make many memories with our grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.  I am truly blessed to have a wonderful family and a career that challenges and motivates me to be a better person everyday.
